The perfect Holiday Cocktails

I’m a very detail oriented person. It’s a blessing and a curse. Especially when the holidays roll around. And by holidays, I mean Christmas. I feel like anything I do that is associated with Christmas has to be perfect. My husband says I’m “extra” and I supposed he’s not wrong. Hehe. With that being said, when I decided to whip up some holiday cocktails, you know ya girl went ALL OUT. I ended up making 2 different ones and they’re perfect for upcoming holiday parties. Why you ask? Because the ingredients are simple and affordable (woot woot.) But more importantly, the presentation is bomb.. or so I’d like to think!

First up is a Cranberry Mimosa!

What you’ll need:

-Fresh Cranberries

-Fresh Rosemary

-Orange Juice

-Bottle of Champagne

-Cranberry cocktail juice

Amount of champagne, orange juice and cranberry juice will depend on how many you’re serving. I wanted a pretty presentation so I poured the cranberry juice into the plastic ornaments. Once you are ready to serve, you would pour a little bit of champagne and orange juice into the glass and then pour the cranberry juice out of the ornament into the glass. This recipe can be done without the orange juice if you prefer. I garnished the glass with fresh cranberries and rosemary.

Next is a Sparkling Cranberry Wine Spritzer!

What you’ll need:

-Fresh Cranberries

-Fresh Rosemary

-Bottle of Moscato

-Bottle of Champagne

-Cranberry cocktail juice

-Ginger Ale

Amount of champagne, wine and cranberry juice will depend on how many your serving. Again, I wanted a pretty presentation. I chose to mix the moscato, ginger ale and cranberry juice in a pitcher. I then topped the mixture with a splash of champagne upon serving. I garnished the glass with fresh cranberries and rosemary. To top it all off, I decided to make the presentation of the mixture in the pitcher super “extra.” I did this by freezing fresh cranberries and rosemary in large ice cubes. I placed those in the pitcher.

I found the red paper straws at Target and the clear plastic ornaments are from Michaels Craft Store. The ice cube tray is from Amazon, white serving tray is from Target and the clear pitcher is from Walmart.

Throughout this whole process, which only took about 30 minutes, my husband made it a point to remind me that I’m “extra.” But I’d say this was totally worth it! The drinks were easy, delicious and so pretty!

I’d love to see y’all try these recipes and tell me what you think! I hope you all enjoy!!
